I’ve had in mind starting up a Gem Cutting Web Site on “Wordpress” which targets all the sapphire seekers that visit Montana. Yes..I’ve been out there mining..it IS HUGE fun too! Now..here is where the owners of the mine make the REAL $$$. They offer heat treatment, and faceting services to those who want to turn their gems into SOMETHING. I actually had a few of My sapphires heat treated by the mine. It took them 8 FRICKEN months to get them done. They send the stones overseas to have them faceted.
MY IDEA? Offer cutting/faceting services HERE in the US. My niche would be the fast service…as opposed to waiting months for your gem.
I was thinking charging something like $35.00 for the first stone..then $20.00 for each additional. I’m talking about just cutting the stone in a Round Brilliant cut. Something that can be done fairly quickly. Am I crazy, or do you think this might fly? Evil..can I use you as a reference?

I started something yesterday….to get answers….and direction.
Discovered that I am not weird…that I don’t have a phycological problem…ONLY a situational problem.
Was given 3 suggestions on a course I could take. I choose #3. Especially after TRYING to discuss with another who is the root of My issues for the last 20 years.
This doesn’t make any sense I know….but I’m now good with My new path, and I’ve been validated. I’m happy to be moving on now, instead of feeling the guilt I’ve been dealing with since leaving 3 weeks ago.

Yesterday morning I leave for Kansas City as instructed. Nice day…good roads (for a change)…good trip down. 9 miles from KC and dispatch calls….You’re at the wrong city. HUH? Dispatcher informs Me that He screwed up, and that I was supposed to go to Seneca, Illinois plant for this load. Hey folks..we’re talking about SW of Chicago now!
How soon can you be there? I’ve got 4 hours to drive…then 10 off to sleep….ah…9 - 10 am TOMORROW.
